A new watch! Early Father’s Day for me.

I own two really nice watches (Bulova Marine Star and Seiko AKA Alba), both courtesy of my brother. These watches are water resistant to 100m, but both have metal bands. I decided a while ago that I wanted a watch that was a bit more rugged for my daily use.
For Father’s Day, my sons got me an Under Armour Coach watch, and I’m really enjoying it. The watch is also water resistant and has a plastic band. One really unique feature of this watch is that it is both digital and analog. The analog face doubles as the digital display!
So, now I have a watch for normal every day stuff, and a couple of watches for stepping out.
Never could get into wearing watches. Had a really nice watch that was given to me as a graduation gift (really nice in my world means $100). Cracked the face within a week. Continued to wear it. One day, I was driving home from school and I took the watch off and put it in a little tray in my car’s console near the emergency break. I never saw the watch again. No idea what happened to it. Scoured the vehicle…nothing. That was over 6 years ago.
