Wright was the keyboardist for my favorite band, Pink Floyd. For Pink Floyd fans everywhere, this is truly a sad passing. Wright was an integral part of Pink Floyd, and the only member other than Nick Mason to play on every tour.

Richard Wright’s Wikipedia page describes him perfectly:

Wright had the lowest profile of any member of a band known for their disinclination to seek individual attention.
