This is just awful! An entire week with no post? What the hizzie?

To be honest, I’ve been putting a fair amount of free time into my first Facebook app (you might remember this is one of my 2008 resolutions). The learning curve on this isn’t all that steep, but I’ve made the decision to do this in Ruby instead of PHP. My reasons for this are two-fold:

1. I’ve been programming in Perl for 10 years. For me, PHP is just similar enough to Perl to make everything extremely annoying.
2. I really like Ruby, and I REALLY REALLY like Rails. It’s still very new to me, but Rails programming is what I want to do.

So anyway, that’s where it’s at and how it’s going.
