Ma.gnolia: Ma.rk’d This Week
I spend time surfing the web everyday. I admit it. I am not ashamed. Here are the pages I marked this week on Ma.gnolia:
Social Site’s New Friends Are Athletes – New York Times
I was a day late, and $4.5 million short. Not to mention being short a Peyton Manning, Tony Parker, Derek Jeter, Lebron James, etc
The Maverick and the Media – New York Times
“John McCain may be the first real postmodernist candidate for the presidency — the first to turn his press relations into the basis of his candidacy.”
Epson 3800 Step-By-Step Printing Workflow
An awesome site for all things Epson 3800. I am indebted in like 5,000,000 different ways.
Measure for Measure – Opinion – New York Times Blog
This blog, featuring Andrew Bird, Darrell Brown, Roseanne Cash, and Suzanne Vega, deals with songwriting. Bird has some interesting thoughts here.
Dykstra, Like His Father, Is Reckless in Good Way – New York Times
“Lenny’s son Cutter Dykstra is one of the nation’s finest high school baseball prospects and a possible first-round pick in the June draft.” As an Astros fan, it pains me to say this, but, under different circumstances, I would probably be a huge Lenny Dykstra fan. Maybe Cutter can find his way into an Astros uniform.
